The amusement park throbbed with life. Gothamites crawled all over it,infesting it,devouring the candy floss and hot dogs and spending 50 dollars on every ride.
Carmen didn't like amusement parks. They made him sick.
He walked jerkily through the gates, ignoring the ticket man's protests, and walked past the staring people up to a hot dog stand. "French Fries."Carmen told the man behind the counter, who stared at him. "The hell are you?"he said."Hallowe'en ain't for six months...." He handed Carmen the french fries."Uhm,one dollar eighty cents,please...." Carmen shot him in the face with his gun and walked away. A mother screamed and covered her fat child's eyes:the shopkeeper was thrashing and wretching, his eyes blank, his skin green.Mucus poured from his mouth and hardened around him, encasing him in a disgusting cocoon. A security guard reached for his radio. Carmen snorted, then sprinted at the man,his yellow cape fanning out behind him in four wing shapes and becoming hard like a handglider. Carmen jumped into the air,the wings caught on an air current and carried him two meters off the ground. The guard had turned on his radio when Carmen came close, his eyes swivelled to Carmen and his mouth opened in shock. The Carmen kicked him in the chest and he was knocked flat on his back. Carmen landed, his wings going limp, and seized the radio. "I'll take that, thanks." The guard was a little stunned and didn't say anything. Carmen walked away, towards the Ferris wheel, slipping french fires into his opened helmet mouth vent, where he chewed them sloppily, dribble splattering over his chin. the crowd scattered, screaming, from the gaudily dressed terrorist, which suited Carmen just fine. With the grubby tourists out of the way,no-one would take any pictures.

OOC- Love what you did to Killer Moth, he makes some of the scariest villains look like a wimp now. And I'm glad you picked a carnival Fighting on a Ferris Wheel sounds interesting.
Nightwing was trying to be normal. He was so busy nowadays with Bruce gone that he rarely was even seen as himself, Dick Grayson. So, he made a date with a girl who was an intern at Wayne Enterprises. They were going to meet at a carnival, but when Dick got there, he had to head back into his car, get his Nightwing suit on, and then come back out.
Why? Just because a maniac was running around, apparently shooting people with a gun that did god knows what to them, and he was also eating french fries.
Another day, another insane person in Gotham.
Nightwing had managed to catch the man in the costume near the Ferris Wheel, and was now standing on one of the many seats on the Ferris Wheel, staring the villain down.
"And just who might you be? Another man trying to make his name known in Gotham?" Nightwing asked the man.

OOC-Thanks!
Carmen jumped onto a seat on the ferris wheel, throwing the occupying kid out. He pulled a time bomb from his pocket and began to ready it. "And just who might you be?" Carmen twitched and turned his head slowly to the right. He didn't know how the man had got there, nor did he care. All Carmen Von Cleer saw was the dark blue bat symbol on his chest. Carmen didn't like bats.He hated them. They served the Batman. But this wasn't the Batman.....different voice.......different posture.....different costume. Carmen dimly realized the Bat-Imposter was saying something else. "--man trying to make his name known in Gotham?" Carmen raised his tongue to the roof of his mouth, breathing through it it produced a buzzing sound. "Moths don't have names,"he told the Bat-Imposter."that's why we're different from you......bats." The Ferris Wheel began to move, lifting them off the ground. Carmen used the distraction to leap up onto the next carriage, his wing-cape providing the boost required, and scramble onto that one instead. He had decided he couldn't meet the Bat-imposter head-on until he'd seen what it could do.

Great, now a time bomb. He probably should have called his date and told her he had to cancel, but right now that probably would have been a bad idea. The Ferris Wheel was now moving, and the Mothman was now standing on top of a carriage, apparently just waiting for Nightwing to do something. Nightwing quickly jumped down to the bottom carriage, landed, then rolled off the edge, hanged for a second, and then pulled himself in. Hopefully that would be enough to impress the Mothman for now.
The timebomb wasn't too large, but large enough to do some damage. Nightwing quickly pressed a botton on his mask, making a two small visors go over each eyelid, allowing him to see where to cut the wires with the batarang. He was mad that Oracle wasn't on the other line, but he was used to being alone with a criminal for some time now.
He was one wire away from deactivating the bomb, and quickly did it, only to see that he had lost the Mothman.

Killer Moth dropped down on Nightwing like a bomb, landing in front of him and lashing out with a kick aimed to the face.He didn't check to see if it connected, but fled to the upper carriages. He shoved a couple of lovebirds off the top carriage*they plummeted to their deaths*and readied another bomb. Carmen had decided his battle suit would need a lot of upgrades in order to fulfill tasks without bat interference. For one thing, storage space for more time bombs. And more holsters for more guns. Guns? Shooting the Bat-imposter wasn't part of his job,but it seemed like a good idea. He loaded his dart gun with another dose of venom, then holstered it again and finished the touches on the time bomb.No point standing around and waiting for the Bat-impostor to cut the wires again,Carmen set it to ten seconds and then glided down onto another carriage, watching the Bat-imposter and waiting.

Now he had a gun, although it didn't look like a normal gun, and seeing what happened to a store manager that Nightwing had passed by, Nightwing didn't want to get shot by it. He quickly tossed a random batarang at the killer, then jumped into the last carriage with people on it, and quickly told them to hold on. They were maybe 10 feet off the ground, which was lucky for him, because they were going to have to drop. Nightwing quickly disconnected the carriage from the ferris wheel, dropping them on the ground, hitting it with a thud. The passengers were alright, and ran away, not even giving him a thank you.
Now Nightwing knew this wasn't a Mothman kind of psycho. He was Killer Moth, the bodies he had thrown from the carriage had explained that. Nightwing quickly put his two nunchucks together, creating a bostaff, something that was pretty handy in situations like this. He quickly grappled up to the Ferris Wheel, and watched as a roller coaster went by. If he could knock Killer Moth onto the coaster, it might be narrow enough that Nightwing could bash him across the face a few times.

Carmen knelt down, aiming his dart gun, when a bat flew out of the shadows and bit his hand, causing him to drop the gun. He was about to squeal like a two year old girl, afraid the bat would come back, when he looked down and saw a metal bat-shaped object lying on the ground, covered in his blood. He knelt down and picked it up. It was some kind of boomerang, with sharp, cutting edges, designed to disarm people. Carmen tucked in into a belt compartment and retrieved his gun, then went to see how the Bat-imposter was doing. He had disarmed the other bomb, and had dropped the carriage down, having combined the batons into a sort of staff and was looking at the roller coaster. Carmen frowned under his helmet, thinking. He poured the rest of his french fires through the helmet vent, wiped his mouth and closed it.It was time to go in close. The coaster could easily be used to his advantage. If he could bring the Bat-impostor up to the tracks just as the carriage came around,it would result in the Bat-impostor becoming a Bat-splat. How to get him up there though?Carmen looked at the long poles holding the roller coaster tracks off the ground. He had no desire to go in close-the staff didn't look fluffy-but he had no choice. Carmen glided to the ground and landed near the Bat-Impostor,raising his fists. He had equipped the suit with light armor that would hopefully protect him from the worst of the staff's blows. His own hand-to-hand abilities were nowhere near a bat's potential, but he was fit enough to put up a fight.

Nightwing wasn't expecting a fist fight, so the first him from Killer Moth connected with his face. It wasn't a hard punch, but hard enough to sting like crazy. Nightwing quickly tried to trip Killer Moth by sliding his leg under him, but the Moth jumped over it, and tackled Nightwing to the ground, getting in about 3 punches, each one doing more damage than the last. Nightwing kicked him off, and then swung his bostaff, connecting to the side of Killer Moth.
The killer was wearing light armor, so the staff wasn't doing as much damage as Nightwing had hoped, but probably more damage than a punch would have done. Nightwing bashed the man in the face with his bostaff, and then followed by disconnecting the bostaff, giving him his two Acryllic Nunchucks back, and he quickly ended the attack with two strikes from it. The Moth replied with a nice knee to the chest, and the an uppercut to the jaw.
Nightwing stumbled, and then charged forward, but the Moth was faster. He fluttered above him for a second, and then flipped behind Nightwing, and then kicked him in the back, knocking him to the ground. Nightwing got back up, and then quickly spun his bostaff around wildly, making the Moth back up, and into a food stand. Nightwing swung his bostaff, hit the moth in the stomach, and the Moth quickly hovered above him for a second, landed a few yards away.
"Your not too bad, but you should work on the suit. I bet that bostaff did some damage to that helmet of yours." Nightwing said, spitting some blood out of his mouth.

Carmen fell to his knees for a second, wishing those french fries had digested better as they were now plastered across the inside of his helmet. He stood up,trying not to breath in,and levitated up.It was time for a change of plan. He glided out of reach and up to the tracks, crouching, placing another time bomb.He beckoned to the Bat-imposter,planning his escape route already. Next,Carmen loaded his gun with a specialized dart. This one contained a special venom injection that was designed to eat through steel. The tracks wouldn't be any more difficult for it. He glided into the air.The plan was to shoot the tracks as soon as the Impostor got onto them, melting them beneath his feet and causing him to fall to his death. If the Bat-impostor would comply with the plan, then Carmen could complete his job and be home in time for supper.

It was probably a trap to go on the roller coaster ride, so Nightwing first told a nearby worker at the amusement park to turn it off, and the worker quickly ran off, probably to follow the instructions. Nightwing was going to spring the trap. Give Killer Moth the pleasure of thinking he succeeded. However, Nightwing had other tricks up his sleeve. His grapple would do just the thing.
He quickly decided to climb to the top of the roller coaster, not wanting to give away his plan. When he was at the top, he quickly took out a batarang, and tossed it wildly at Killer Moth hopefully he would execute his plan now. Then Nightwing would either grapple onto Killer Moth, dragging him to the ground with him, or just glide down, and then drag Killer Moth down with the grapple, which could hold 6x the weight of himself, which meant that he could easily pull Killer Moth down, but only if he wasn't expecting it.

Carmen looked steadily at the Bat-impostor,watching him climb up the side of the Track, then reach for another one of those metal bat things. Carmen drew his gun and fired and the track beneath the Impostor, the capsule exploded, burning the track away as the Impostor tossed the metal bat. Von Cleer barrel rolled in midair, avoiding the metal bat.He smirked, pleased with himself, when the bat came back around and struck him on the back of the head. Carmen fell onto the tracks beside Nightwing, disbelieving that he'd forgotten who boomerangs worked. He stood up,scowling at the Impostor, and lunged, pistolwhipping him in the face. That should teach the bastard not to interfere with his plans in the future. Carmen looked over his shoulder,a crowd was gathering. Whatever, more casualties, more money. He readied the timebomb, setting it for five seconds, then spread his wing-cape and flew out of reach. The Bat-Impostor would burn with the rest, unless he was as fast as that guy who ran around with wings on his head.

Everything happened so fast. He felt a pistol hit his face, and then heard a bomb being placed down. Where was this guy getting all of them. He realized that he had five seconds according to a timer on it, and quickly shot his grapple gun at Killer Moth, and it hit his foot, tying it around it. The Moth was still flying though, and by the time Nightwing jumped off the roller coaster tracks, the explosion went off, and a piece of the track cut the wire from the grapple gun, making Nightwing fall.
However, being caught in the explosion propelled Nightwing forward, making him fly through the air. He quickly glided, the wings from the pack on his back coming out. He quickly glided down, and watched as the railroad tracks began to fall. The supports were breaking one by one, the explosion sending shockwaves through them. Nightwing quickly tossed a Batarang, making one support beam break, and causing it to stop the the coaster track for falling, only for maybe 30 seconds.
"Run!" Nightwing yelled.
Nearly everyone who was near the coaster ran, but not all of them made it. The rest of the track fell down, killing or at least serously injuring at least 25 people. Nightwing quickly told someone to call the police, and make sure they came here ASAP.
Now he had to find Killer Moth, but where he was now in the amusement park was something that Nightwing would need to find out.
